There is a roundabout in Swindon, England that handles traffic from 5 directions. It was constructed in 1972.
Here’s a diagram and a pic of it.

You think they can do this in Malaysia? Probably the accident rate will quadrupled if this is built, especially around the month of May with the booze flowing freely into the throats of the kadazandusuns. If Malaysians, the most acceptable solutions is building a flyover, where they close the road for a few months, launch it and close it again before it’s first year’s anniversary because of cracks.

i don’t think they can build that in sabah. even the small roundabout along jalan bundusan keeps sinking and falling apart. going round it is like testing your shock absorbers to the limit.
the one at likas tanjung lipat? not even round. i think because if it had to be round, some bits of it would be in the sea. what to do? save money and cut that bit off. so if you are coming from the city going into the sports complex, you really have to do a hard right turn. not the smooth roundabout turn you expect.
the one near sabah state assembly really is more of an oblongabout or ovalabout.
