Okay so my leave for Monday 29th May has been approved (half of my colleagues are off too), so now I have almost a week without having to work! Yeah! For those of you in the dark, we have 2 days holiday in Sabah because of the Kaamatan (Harvest Festival) celebration. Those 2 days are 30th and 31st May, that’s Tuesday and Wednesday, leaving Monday an orphaned working day. That’s why many people are taking leave for that day to enjoy the holiday streak.

So I’m off with my family (that’s me, my wife and son) for a mini vacation in Nexus Karambunai (sponsored by my credit card - which I have to return the sponsorship back at the end of next month :P ). There’s a special package just for Sabahans, aptly named “Kaamatan escape”. It cost RM260++ for the Ocean Wing room, wahh overlooking the ocean. Have to remind myself to bring my tripod.

It’s just for a one-night stay but hopefully my son Jordan will have a blast with his parents :D I want to teach him swimming in the pool. Hopefully on that day it doesn’t rain the evening.

Then on Tuesday, we will be having a slightly bigger family picnic at Tg Aru beach. Hopefully it doesn’t rain in the morning ;)) .

SOOOO…….. I don’t think I’ll be updating my blog until Thursday! Unless I am not tired la. Even if I have time, I want to setup my family blog after talking about it to my wife for so long. So expect me 2 weeks from now.

Anyway, what’s your plan for this holiday? Aramai Tii? Don’t drink and drive ah. For the past week I’ve passed 2 police checking at 11pm, armed with their breathalyser test. If you get caught, BARU KO TAU! haha.
