This is an extension for all version of firefox where you can download any videos that you are watching from the listed video services with just a click of the button.

It’s like the website keepvid.com (refer to my post here), only it’s stuck to your Firefox, neat.

Video downloaderAfter installing this, there will be a small icon on the status bar of your browser. When you are watching a [tag]video[/tag] on [tag]youtube[/tag] or [tag]google[/tag], you can download the video by clicking on the icon where a window will pop up that gives you the direct link to the video.

I’ve tried this on youtube.com and it works. Basically it will just give you a shortcut on the location of the file, so you can either download using [tag]Firefox[/tag] or copy the link to your [tag]download[/tag] manager.

The other video hosting services that it supports are Youtube, Google Video, iFilm, Metacafe, Dailymotion, Myspace, Angry Alien, AnimeEpisodes.Net, Badjojo, Blastro, Blennus, Blip.tv, Bofunk, Bolt, Break.com, Castpost, CollegeHumor, Current TV .. well the list goes on and on. It claims to work on more than 60 sites but for me, as long as it works on youtube or google video, it should be ok.
