You know those “snooze” button on your alarm? Snooze allows you to sleep a little more extra few minutes before it rings again. Usually I will snooze 2 or 3 more times before I get up and that is not because I surrender to the alarm, but usually it’s my wife hit me with a slight slap on the face because the alarm is getting on her nerves too.

My handphone (which is also my alarm clock) has a 10-minute snooze feature with a touch button (on the right), but my fingers were always tempted to press the left button which is to switch the alarm off hehe. I think most of us have these problem.

Anyway, Steve Pavlina (stevepavlina.com) posted how he taught his unconcious mind to re-act to the alarm sound. Without thinking, whenever the alarm rings, his body will just spring up and he will do some routines everytime. If you want to discipline your body just like him, you can follow his suggested method of practise, practise and practise - yes even during the day :)

Usually if I need to wake up earlier than usual, like when I need to watch Manchester Utd play, I will tell myself “wake up at 3. wake up at 3″ when going to bed, it’s my mantra until I fell asleep. So I will wake up at 5am, just enough to see the final score and watch the repeat the same night :D

So… better follow his method not mine :P
