A new study found that men shown sexual cues cannot really think straight and make bad decision, even on financial matters. Well actually, this point is undeniably true.

Everyone knows it, but now we have the facts handy. Anyone seen how sexy and exposed-skin those ladies from Maxis and Digis booth during the telco fair in Karamunsing Complex 2 weeks ago? All you can see is bald-headed guys on their slippers surrounding these ladies like bees swarming the queen.

You know they weren’t really listening to the promoters but I guess more than half of them signed up for the phone services.

The Proceedings of the Royal Society B study found they were more likely to accept unfair offers than men not been exposed to the alluring images.

The suggestion is that the sexual cues distract the men’s thoughts, preventing them from focusing on their task - particularly among those with high natural testosterone levels.

I remember our evil MD last time, a few years back, who blamed our lack of projects to our not-so-pretty sales people. He even blame our receptionist, saying she didn’t have the looks and charm to make our customers feel welcome. If he reads this article, probably he will send this to all of the staff. Well he’s no longer here now *phew*.
