Last Tuesday, my desk was moved out of the multimedia room now that I am part of the larger projects team. It’s more cramped and the edge of my desk is touching my colleague’s desk.
Well yesterday, closing to 5pm I heard her mouse clicking continuously and when I glanced at her screen, she was playing games. Hehe I don’t mind actually but some games require continous clicking. That’s why sometimes when the boss pass by suddenly the parading sound of clicking died down suddenly.
Anyway, the Japanese (yes they don’t sleep, they always try to improve our lives) has invented a clickless mouse. You won’t hear the mouse click. We are used to the word click, that we seem to forget that the description of the “mouse clicking” action was derived from the sound made when the mouse button is being emmmmm.. clicked.
So should we continue telling people to click the mouse if the mouse has no click sound? Maybe we just say “press” the left button? :P
