anything funny and interesting. pictures, videos, news and links.

I grew up to the sounds of New Kids on the Block, Bros, Kylie & Jason and Milli Vanilli (yikes). I wasn’t even born yet when the world was taken over by the Fab Four - the Beatles and completely missed this rumour of Paul McCartney died in a car accident at the height of their fame.

It was said that Paul died horribly, his head was decapitated and smashed that even dental records were useless to identify him. So the rest of the band hired a lookalike to pose as Paul.

I came across this article this morning and read through the clues. Hehehe.. was it a hoax? Were all of the clues pure coincidences or did the Beatles themselves played along with the fans to hike up their album sales?

I have heard of reports “i saw elvis alive!”, then why didn’t we hear of “i saw paul’s grave!”?

Anyway, this is a good read.

Big Momma’s House 2

Big Momma's House 2My wife and me just watched Big Momma’s House 2 at Growball during lunch! Worth our every cent!

It was 1.5 hours long but I didn’t realise the movie was ending. It seem so fast with all those laughs we had! Actually, the main investigative story of the movie was quite simple and predictable but hey, we watch it for the laughs… and we had lots of them!

We were fans of Martin Lawrence ever since we watched Blue Streak and one of his finest skill is his dancing. So this movie is no different, he showed some dancing moves.

My hardest laugh was the first “slapstick” moment in the movie, that was when he fell of the chair front-wards. You know, it’s just so funny that you don’t actually see him fall. You can see his legs spread wide after falling off.. hahaha.

I’d say this is better than the first movie and yes, you can watch this if you didn’t watch the first one.

I remember when I was growing up, there’s this one program on tv which is “Hari Ini Dalam Sejarah” (Today in History), I learned a lot of history from that show. Though it didn’t help me much in my SRP examination, I still think it was a good show.

Don’t know what happened to it though. I RARELY tuned into our government ass-licking channel nowadays.

Anyway, here’s a site that tells you what song was number one on a particular date.

When I was born (18th Dec 75), the top song in USA was “That’s the Way (I Like It)” by K.C. & the Sunshine Band. Yeahh.. thats the way aha aha.. i like it aha aha…. :P

Check out yours.

Lunch at the @mosphere

Last Saturday, my wife and me celebrated Valentine at the @mosphere restaurant during lunch. Well actually we wanted to check out KK’s latest high-profile restaurant and so a belated Valentine dine was a good reason. Besides, all those bloated valentine prices has gone down.

So, for those not “in the know”, the @mosphere restaurant is a revolving restaurant located on the 18th floor of Menara Tun Mustapha (formerly known as Yayasan Sabah). Some of you might not know this (like my wife), actually the revolving restaurant was already in place when the building was opened but closed a few years later.

I asked my dad why it was closed back then, he said they found some cracks. Well not sure how true about that but I read they spent RM1 million to renovate the place and hopefully, they fixed those cracks (can ask Samy Vellu to verify hehe).

Anyway, there’s a valet parking service so if you don’t want to walk up the stairs, you can drive up to the base of the building and let the valet take over your car and park it. When I saw the notice board about the service, the first thing that came to my mind the face of an intimidating illegal immigrant working part time there trying to steal my cheap driving slippers and ambir pure perfume, so I parked the car myself and we walked.
