Well based on the game where the children would look for eggs hidden here and there, Easter Egg in computer application term means a hidden feature that can be revealed by doing an action, maybe like entering keywords or clicking a hidden link. Unlike a game’s cheatcode however, easter eggs do nothing except for pure fun/entertainment and sometimes, to display credits and message.
