Last Sunday, my parents invited me to see the carollers back in our village in Penampang. So we brought Jordan along to see the singers in action.
My brother lighted up the stairs with candles but when Jordan came near it he…

tried to blow the candle out!
his 2nd birthday was last month. i think he wasn’t satisfied just blowing out 2 candles!

“pppfffffffffffftttttttttttttttttttt”

eh? how come the candle burned brighter? looks like the candle won.

’tis the season to be jolly tralalalala - lalalala!

Jordan giving his approval with a cheeky smile with my wife (right) and mom (left) at his side.
Just some note - yesterday was my brother’s birthday and today is father’s birthday! Emmm 2 more birthdays coming soon!

depends on how “strict” the parish and also looking at the availability of the members. for catholics, christmas starts only when the word is proclaimed, and that is on Christmas Eve, so we only sing songs of Christmas and greet each other on the night of 24th Dec til first week of Jan. Itu lah church also ndak kena decorate with the nativity scene til the 24th midnite mass.
but for kampung folks, they do it early cuz too many houses to do bah, so start early looh.. hehe.
