Okay. I have to admit.. I’ve been using tables to design websites all these while wuaaaaa. I was already in my own comfort zone and whenever projects came in, the deadline were always near-impossible to complete so that leaves no time to study CSS.

But I know it was time to change or else the internet community will look down on me for still giving users nested tables to present data and images. Anyway, it took me quite a while to go through multiple tutorials and articles on CSS. The incompatibility issue that IE has didn’t help either. There was a time when an image moved 1 pixel to the left of the screen when viewing under IE but looks completely ok under Firefox - that kept me the whole night, cursing bill gates while drinking coffee and tried to understand whatever hacks that is needed.

But I’ve pulled through it and hence, I have my first CSS website.. emmm but don’t look at the source code though cuz there are tables in there haha. A bit only lah but the main layout are all controlled by CSS.

Okay sorry only web designers and programmers will understand this post, so if you are confused already don’t worry. Your IQ didn’t drop, it’s just that I am writing at a higher level of controlled geekyness.

The client is POIC Sabah. A company that is funded by the govt to lure foreign investors to invest in our palm oil industry. Here’s the website address if you wanna have a look.

Let me know what you think of the design ya ;)
