Yep - to help spur people like me to change their old IC to MyKad, the govt has introduced a lottery.. err I mean a contest, where they will hold 3 draws to give out prizes including the main prize, a brand new MyVi.
but what will happen if the pilak wins it? anyway, i’ll change my ic next week (nah suda procrastinate - mau jugak tunggu next week).

Google has launched (beta though) it’s own Instant Messenger (IM) with call feature. I’ve already downloaded, install and run it. It’s pretty bare. Not so much features yet though I haven’t tried the talk cuz I got no mic in the office.
I hope google can extend their features quick and push everyone, MSN/YM to improve their services! For now, the g-talk is quite fast.
To use it, you need to have an account with Google. If you have gmail, then yes you have an account with Google. How to get an account? You need to be invited. Who wants to be invited? Email me mrbadak@gmail.com.

Anyone of you have a Ringo account? Well lately my account has been getting a lot of new contacts which I have no idea who the hell they are. At first i thought my peminat tambah banyak.
But when strangers are getting added in my contacts on an hourly basis and you can’t block them or set your preferences to get your permission before they claim they are your friend, i know there’s something terribly wrong with the system.
So.. my ringo became rinse and go. I deleted my account. Anyone added me on your ringo - sorry.
the year 2005 is special - because it is the 60th Anniversary of the Sandakan-Ranau Death March that took the lives of more than 2,000 soldiers. Only 6 out of 2400 survived!
i think this event is not really emphasized in our history books (if it does, then i missed it :P). anyway, there’s an on-going expedition going through the same route as the soldiers did, you can have a look at the simple flash presentation on this website here.

the re-enactment of the march is taking place as you read this but i think my generation and the younger ones, aren’t too bothered about this. biasa lah, AF sama EPL saja bah.
