Woah.. Marsha was 2nd last during Saturday’s concert, her percentage with Akma was the same at 10%, so their votes weren’t that far apart. Nasibbb bah she survived - sad to say Akma didn’t make the cut and si kinit, kefli masih stay, eventhough he did quite well last night (for his standard), it doesn’t justify Akma’s dismissal cuz she has been one of the consistent performers.

Marsha performed so-so lah but jambu bah dia, so all is forgiven suda kekeke. Usually her voice is soft and you’d mistake it for falsetto but for her song during this concert, you can really hear her voice.

..tapi the loudest cheer of the night was for Felix. Now everyone knows he has been suffering from a sore throat for a couple of weeks and obviously, he got a throat-maiming song yet he did great.

Before his performance, host Aznil apologised to him for last week’s joke when he compared Felix and Marsha as orang utans. Felix, obviously didn’t know the brouhaha in the media, just took it rather simply.

Felix said “cuba lagi tahun depan”. Mimang joker bah dia ni.

when the 2nd jury was about to comment on Felix’s performance, you could hear a group of people shouting “Felix Universe!”. i thought “bah.. fanatik suda fans si felix” - sekali tengok, it was the ex-students pulak! ish ish ish.

anyway, the most striking moment of that night for me was…. no no.. not Yazer’s exposed knees facing the tv screen.. it was.. Amylea!

this petite girl has talent and command of the stage. we all know she can dance since the show started but last night - woah - she made Ella’s song hers. Not at any point did she try to imitate the original singer (play Yazer and Vince track singin “mengapa harus cinta” side by side and you’d know what i mean).

i must admit, she looks better with the decreased perimeter of her hair which used to look like the lead character from Lion King.

well - you know i haven’t started to AFUNDI and i don’t intend to. i’m paying my monthly bill to astro already so they’ll be getting no more of my dough.

don’t get me wrong - i support the students and i will buy their album when it’s out but for now, i’ll just enjoy watching the concert and laughing at all the bad grammar people use on Channel 15 (like “Mawi is comeback!” - *duh*)
