since i was on leave wednesday, i took my son from the nursery earlier and made a surprise visit to my wife.

Jordan at mommy’s office
one comment from my colleague stood out from the rest “jeff, how come you’re so dark and jordan is so fair?… follow the mommy la oh?”
yes i am dark - i know. it’s because i have lots of dead skins still on my face. wait! don’t run away! don’t worry, i’m not a zombie. how i know that? cuz the experts sana servay and milimewa always tell me whenever i pass them standing at the toiletries section. u can recognise them with a bottle of shampoo in their hand and standing next to the brand that they’re selling.
they are so direct. ada pernah said to me “aiya sir, you have oily skin oh. i have this face cleanser ah.. can clear the oil one“.
wah crazy meh! oil prices going up and you want to clear my oil lagi?
anyway, they tend to be pushy that sometimes, you want to buy Nivea punya face whitening cream but somehow you ended up buying goat’s milk shampoo. my wife dulu takut suda tu mo pegi sana - selalu kena serbu.
so what she does is, she spy the products from far kan and like a scene from Mission Impossible, she pura-pura mau pegi saaaana section lain and jalan pass by saja. skali dekat her target, swooosh tu benda sudah dalam trolley and she continues her journey.
ui jauh jugak sia melalut. anyway, sia galap-galap macho bah. that comment about the tone of the skin ok lagi, got my friend si katamata lagi teruk.. this is what he said
“cute oh anak kau.. mesti dia ikut bini kao ni. uiiii nasib oh!”
kuang kuang kuanggg - tapi ndapa bah. sia suda kawin jugak (shukurr).
u know the song ‘o bangau o bangau.. mengapa engkau kurus?’?.. well.. i dedicate this same song with modified lyrics to my beloved team, Sabah who were trashed 5-0 by Perak in Likas tonight.
o badak.. o badak
mengapa kamu kalah?
camana kami ndak kalah
kami main macam tai… kami main macam tai..
the 5-0 trashing was so bad that the President of SAFA, Datuk Anifah has relieved all the managers and coaches of their duties immediately and took over the management of the team. at least tonight’s game was FA Cup - Sabah is still fighting relegation from the SuperLeague and has 3 more matches to go but we are languishing at the bottom of the league.
adoi. tambah malas pegi kerja bisuk!

stadium is deserted when the game is still on. well if your team is trailing by 5 goals, who’d want to stay til the end?
HDD sia di rumah tahap kritikal suda, kapus-kapus suda mo start. Anytime mo kuyak suda tu, so 1 malam sia cloning and saving partition image. Masuk internet pun ndada semalam. Well, now is a good time to sell my RM5 *sigh*.. ndapa lah.. simpan dulu tu.
wah sia punya blog kana serbu fans felix. susah-susahhh saja kamu ni hehe.
anyway, untuk memulakan “save my harddisk” fund drive, ada harta warisan sia terpaksa jual. siapa mau beli Kingston thumbdrive 1GB, BRAND NEW hanya untuk RM299! Capat kama.. email sia kalau mau kie.
ya i did say i didn’t give a damn yesterday but when one out of marsha, idayu and ekin were to be kicked out, my heart beat tempo went up a notch.
i was saying “not marsha. not marsha. not marsha.” if those three girls’ name were given to me on a platter and i had to choose one to throw, i’d pick ekin.
well - idayu - arguably one of the most consistent performer so far, had to go. hmm, can’t complain. this is a personality and FANatics contest, singing talent is just a side-dish.
marsha is improving and i do hope that she improves much better as the week goes.
tapi the night belongs.. no not those world (yikes) but FELIX (susah susahhhhh sajaa!). i don’t quite remember the whole place laughed so much! i’m sure many households in sabah were trembling with laughter.
ndak payah bah astro tulung buat berita olok-olok atau sketch. sendiri si felix buat skrip. sampai breakfast sunday morning pun cerita balik sama family, ketawa lagi berabis. memang natural bah dia ni kasi ketawa orang. siapa mau dengar balik, ada di radio blog sia tu.
anyway, here’s the kampung award of the night.
Best overall performance - Felix
Best vocal - Amylea
Most improved performance - Amy
Worst performance - Reza (when will he be leaving?)
it’s unfortunate that Adlin is replacing Kudsia only for last night cuz he gives out good and in-your-face comment. for sure he’ll be back in the final.
this morning as i woke up to brush my teeth, i noticed a small shadow on our curtains. it was like a small person - moving gently along the window ledge.
“is it the notorious small baby ninja that has been stalking the neighbourhoods?” i thought to myself.
silently i took my new cameraphone - well it is 2 months’ old already tapi masi wangi kilang lagi (ketara telampau sayang hp). i knew, if i couldn’t catch the ninja, a picture is priceless!
“creeeekkk” the window sounded (ui.. ngam ka grammar ni?)
looks like the ninja is trying to break in!
quickly i readied my cameraphone and flip the curtain to the side and sure enuff - there he was - surprised seeing me in my boxers and hair standing like tarap. i took a snap of his bewildered face.

bewildered baby ninja
i shouted “apa ko mau?” at the ninja but his face turned pale. i knew i should’ve brushed my teeth first.
he turned around trying to make a quick getaway. he went to the edge of the window. i followed him quickly and took another snap, this time it’s closer.

baby ninja trying to get away from the stink
“hohohoo you’re trap!” i exclaimed and as i reached my hand trying to grab him, suddenly a familiar voice rang out from behind.
“dear! kenapa ko biar si Jordan sana luar! ihhhh kuturrr la tangan dia ni kana tu cat besi!”
ahh it’s the mothership calling me back to reality… it’s my wife.
ok so he’s not a ninja - that’s my baby boy, Jordan. he’s 18-months old. cute eh?
